It all began in 1928, when Disney starred Mickey Mouse in
Steamboat Willie. Steamboat Willie was the world's first commercial
animated film, and one of the first films with sound. Naturally, Mickey
was a success. Animation's popularity soared. And ever since, many
animation fans have become passionate collectors of Disney posters.
I have loved Disney's characters and Disney posters since
my uncle gave me a Mickey Mouse watch for my 9th birthday. It was also the
start of my collection for all things related to Disney.
On these pages you will find Disney posters and art prints
for children of all ages ( 0 - 100 ). The characters include Mickey Mouse,
Donald Duck, Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Bambi, Dumbo, Mowgli,
Baloo and all the others that are loved all over the world - It is never
to late to start your own Disney collection, and Disney posters are a
perfect introduction to the wonderful world created by Walt Disney.
I've also included some fun facts about my favorite Disney
animated movies. Walt Disney Pictures has produced forty animated features
over the past sixty-five years. The early Disney movies are the "classics"
produced before the 1990's. The new movies are those produced after 1990.
